Graduation Schedule

Schedule of 8th Grade Activities - 2012

Promotion Dance - Friday, June 1, (6:00-8:00 P.M.) in the multipurpose room - $10 (includes entrance and refreshments)

Eighth graders who are eligible to attend the graduation dance may bring a date (also an eligible 8th grader) from Piedmont Middle School or Sierramont Middle School.  Students must obtain a promotion dance pass and have it approved by the Assistant Principal.  Students must be in school that day to attend the dance.  The cost of the dance will be $10.00 and will include entrance ticket and refreshments.

Class Outing - Monday, June 4th, Great America (9:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.) - $36 (ticket & transportation or $6 transportation only) Students are to arrive at school at the regular time, 8:00A.M.  All eligible Morrill students must ride district approved school buses to and from Great America.  A signed permission form must be turned in to homeroom teachers by May 29th.  A fee of $36 will go towards admission and transportation.  A fee of $6 will only be charged to those students who have a Great America Season pass.

Promotion Ceremony - June 7, (1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.) at Piedmont Hills High School, 1377 Piedmont Rd., San Jose, CA 95132 - $34 (gown & facility)
Graduation gowns are $24 and these are for the students to keep.  If your student has a black gown from a sibling or another family member, he/she can bring it in and have it approved by the counselor to wear for the ceremony. The cost for the facility is $10 for each student.

Class Breakfast - June 7, 8:00 A.M. in the amphitheater area
Food is provided by parent donations. Please contact the office if you would like to bring in a food or drink item (cash donations also accepted).
